A man visited a Zoo in Abeokuta, Ogun State but was shocked after spotting fake crocodiles.  The Twitter user, @tweetmankind shared the video and narrated his experience.  He wrote: "I went to a ZOO in Abeokuta I met the Lions there sleeping but that didn't pain me. On getting to where the crocodiles were, from close examination I suspected they were not real. I confronted the Zoo management they first acted like they don't know but later confessed. SCAM!!!!" Many Nigerians In Our South Africa Are Drug Traffickers- Naledi Pandor, Minister

Naledi Pandor, South African minister of foreign affairs, says there are many Nigerians in the country involved in drug and human trafficking. Pandor said this on Thursday while responding to criticisms that South Africa’s security agencies are not doing enough to protect foreigners in the wave of xenophobia rocking the country. Many Nigerians based in South Africa lost properties worth millions of dollars in the fresh attacks. Xenophobia: Arrested Vandals’ll Be Prosecuted – IGP

The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, has said the 36 Nigerians arrested for allegedly vandalising businesses belonging to South Africans in reaction to the xenophobic attacks will be prosecuted. Adamu said Nigeria is a country being governed by laws, describing those displaying such anti-xenophobic destruction as criminals and unpatriotic citizens. He said the arrest was lawful and justifiable and was done to portray Nigerians as law abiding citizens before the global community. The Inspector General of Police spoke in Ado Ekiti on Thursday during a security Stakeholders’ meeting held in Ado Ekiti capital city. The people of kilometer 5(Owo/Benin road) were left in tears Today, as a car collided with an okada and a Toyota Camry this afternoon in Ondo state. The sad thing about this incident was the moment when a military van came to scene and left without helping the victims, the victims were eventually helped by the police that came to the venue, though at first They said "We no get fuel" Then one of them went to get fuel on another okada, two victims died. My sis later called FRSC emergency line,The last guy was taken to the nearest hos pital by the FRSC , and he's currently receiving treatment.

Fake blind beggars nabbed

Some ladies who feign blindness and use rented kids to beg for alms, were, yesterday, arrested by the taskforce team of Anambra Ministry of Women Affairs, Social welfare and Children Development. One of the suspects revealed that one Edith, who hails from Ebonyi state and is currently at large, brings the kids to them every morning for them to rent at N1,000 per day. . During interrogation, the Commissioner in-charge of the Ministry was able to discover that the kids don't even know where their real parents are. It is being speculated that they are victims of kidnapping or trafficking. It was also discovered that the group of fake beggars camp at Army Barracks, Onitsha and none of them are from Anambra State.

Man Chops Off Hand Of Another Man During A Fight Over A Girl (Photo)

The police in Adamawa state have arrested 23 year old Abubakar Yahaya, pictured above, for chopping off the wrist of one Mohammed Jafar, following their dispute over a girl named Mariam Boni. According to the state police command spokesperson, Othman Abubakar, the suspect and Mariam were lovers and when their relationship crashed, Mariam started seeing Jafar. Abubakar became jealous and made several attempts to persuade Mohammed from seeing Mariam. For failling to heed his several warnings, Abuabakr arranged with his friends and they ambushed Mohammed on November 21st. They beat him up and during the attack, Abubakar used a matchete to chop off Mohammed's hands. The case was immediately reported to the police and Abubakar was arrested. The police spokesperson said the suspect will soon be arraigned in court.

Xenophobia: 9 Nigerians' Properties Burnt In South Africa

The ugly trend of xenophobia resurfaced in South Africa on Sunday as nine Nigerians suffered from the loss of properties due to attacks from arsonists in Central Johannesburg. The Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, Habib Miller, told media sources on the telephone on Monday suspected South Africans unleashed mayhem on unsuspecting Nigerian shop-owners in the precinct. Miller stated the body already relayed the information to the Nigerian Mission in South Africa and they await their response to the ugly development. He said, “Nine Nigerian businesses have been looted and burnt. The incident began on Sunday and continued till Monday, October 22. “Businesses affected range from restaurants, internet cafe, bar, groceries and stores. “At the time of the incident, electricity in the area was cut off. The Israeli government yesterday said it has no evidence about the appearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in the country. According to the government, the pictures and videos showing Nnamdi Kanu praying in Israel could be old.
