Best Fifa Football Awards: Premier League receives most nominations for World11 team European champions Liverpool lead the way among English teams with seven nominations The Premier League has the largest number of nominations for the Fifa Fifpro Men's World11 for the first time in 10 years. Twenty one of the 55 nominees play club football in England, as the Premier League ends La Liga's dominance. Seven of Liverpool's European champions are included although Real Madrid and Barcelona each provided more players. The team will be revealed at the Best Fifa Football Awards in Milan on 23 September. More than 23,000 professional players around the world were asked to choose their best team by Fifpro, the players' union, based on performances between July 2018 and July 2019. Andrea Belotti has scored seven international goals for Italy after his double against Armenia Italy came from behind to beat Armenia and keep up their 100% start to Euro 2020 qualifying. Aleksandre Karapetian gave the hosts a shock lead with an excellent shot from the edge of the area but Andrea Belotti equalised, turning home Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri's cross. Karapetian was harshly sent off for a second booking late in the first half. Lorenzo Pellegrini headed the Azzurri ahead before Belotti's shot cannoned in off the back of keeper Aram Ayrapetyan. Roberto Mancini's side are nine points clear of third-placed Armenia with five games to go. The top two sides from each group automatically qualify for the European Championship. Borrusia Dortmund have signed Striker Paco Alcacer on a permanent deal from Barcelona. The 25-year-old moved to Dortmund in the summer on a season long loan deal but has now signed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club. Alcacer has made a great start to life in Germany and set a new Bundesliga record by scoring his eighth goal in just 218 minutes on the pitch against Bayern Munich on Matchday 11. Kante Signs Five Year Contract With Chelsea

Midfielder N'Golo Kante has signed a new contract with Chelsea, running until 2023. The France international has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal, the club confirmed on Friday. Kante signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2016, following a debut season in the Premier League which ended with a title medal with Leicester City. "I'm happy to extend my time with Chelsea, it has been two beautiful years and I wish for more to come," Kante told Chelsea's official website. "Since I came, I completely improved as a player, challenged myself and got some awards I never thought about. I like the city, I like the club and I am happy to be here for more time." Kante won another Premier League title in his debut season with the Blues, before going on to lift the World Cup with France in Russia this summer. Following the conclusion of the 2016-17 campaign, Kante was named Player of the Year by both the PFA and FWA.

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartemeu has admitted the club is worried about Lionel Messi's injury suffered last week. Messi injured his arm in the 4-2 win over Sevilla on Saturday night. The Argentine had already scored four goals at the Camp Nou this came and had to be substituted in the 27th minute. Messi is said to have fractured his arm and will now miss three weeks of football. And Bartemeu has admitted he is worried for the forward. "We are worried. Yuri Gazinskiy and Cheryshev struck first-half goals to open their international accounts at Luzhniki Stadium, Artem Dzyuba adding a third 89 seconds after his introduction as a second-half replacement, but an injury to star man Alan Dzagoev will cause concern for Russia. Dzagoev hurt his hamstring in the opening period and could be a doubt for the rest of the tournament, depending on the results of a scan.
