Flood Damages Housing Area In Gero, Gombe State (Photos)




The widespread downpour experienced today in most parts of Nigeria has left damages behind, as people continue to count immense losses.

The photos here show residents of a housing area in Gero, Gombe state tackling a huge flood after experiencing heavy rainfall earlier today. The flood damaged a lot of houses and properties, The attention of the government is currently to the plight of the people of the area as productive activities have been crippled.
Reports gathered reveal most of the affected areas in Nigeria lack proper drainage facilities that will ensure the passage of the rain water.
